The Schoolhouse The Schoolhouse is a totally restored 4 star self catering accommodation comprising three double bedrooms (two ensuite) on the first floor with a fourth ensuite bedroom on the ground floor designed for wheelchair access. The 200m2 property has been restored with energy conservation and sustainability in mind. Solar and pellet boiler heating, rainwater harvesting (toilet flushing), and reedbed filteration are some of the technologies employed at the schoolhouse. Underfloor heating is installed in all rooms with an inset wood burning stove providing an attractive alternative source of heat. The stereo system in the lounge can play MP3 files from USB of audio sources. Facilities include; - Games room with slate pool table.

Further afield and within 1 hours drive is the Atlantic Coast of Donegal and Sligo. Lough Melvin and Arrow are within range and trout and salmon fishing is available in season.
There are numerous walks and cycle routes close to the schoolhouse and cycle hire can be arranged with prior notice.
Most importantly is the peaceful and unspoilt nature of the immediate surroundings together with the friendly disposition of all our neighbours.
The schoolhouse is a place to relax and unwind with a good book and plenty of wood on the fire, weather permitting.
